A performance review of REC Limited was held under the chairmanship of Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power) accompanied by Joint Secretary. The meeting was held in the presence of Sh. Vivek Kumar Dewangan, CMD – REC, Sh Ajoy Choudhury, Director (Finance) – REC, Shri Virendar Kumar Adhana, CVO – REC, Sh. T.S.C Bosh Executive Director and other senior officials from REC.
CMD – REC apprised the Secretary about REC’s remarkable performance in FY23 and Q1 FY24. He also spoke about REC’s vision to increase its Renewable Energy portfolio and the Corporation’s strategy of diversifying into Non-Power Infrastructure Lending. The efforts made by REC to become a Net Zero NPA by 2025 were also highlighted.
Secretary (Power) appreciated REC’s exceptional performance and its contributions to the Power Sector. In addition, a review of the Impact Assessment Study of DDUGJY scheme was carried out.
