SECL to spent over 169 Cr in Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on Plantation drive.

SECL signs MoU with Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam and Madhya Pradesh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam for Plantation for 5 years. The MoU was signed between SECL and Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam (CGRVVN) Ltd. and Madhya Pradesh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam (MPRVVN) on 20.07.2023 for carrying out plantation work in the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh for a period of 5 years from 2023-24 to 2027-28 (planting years) with its subsequent maintenance of 4 years for each consecutive year of plantation.

The total value of MoU for plantation work in Chhattisgarh is Rs. 131.52 crore (excluding escalation) and the same for Madhya Pradesh stands at Rs. 38.11 crore.

On this occasion on behalf of SECL Shi. B.K. Jena GM(Min.)/HoD(E&F) and from (CGRVVN) Divisional Managers of Industrial Plantation Division Korba, Raigarh & Sarguja signed the MoU and on behalf of MPRVVN Ltd., Shri Veni Prasad Dotania (I.F.S.), Divisional Manager of Umaria Project Division signed the MoU.
