Grid-India, led by CMD Mr. S R Narasimhan and Mr. S C Saxena, ED -NLDC, participated in the GO15 Governing Board and Steering Board meetings held in Rio de Janeiro hosted by ONS, Brazil from March 26-28, 2023.
Topics such as ‘’real time operation of the future grid’, ‘’long-term system challenges and solutions’’ and ‘’resilience of electricity infrastructure’’ were discussed.
Further, symposium with Brazilian energy stakeholders was also held in which CMD, Grid-India was part of the panel discussion on “Power grid decarbonisation and resilience. Other participants in the symposium were RTE (@rte_france), EPE (@EPE_Brasil), TernaSpA (@TernaSpA), ONS, Brazil, CIGRE, Eletrobras, The AES Corporation, Neoenergia, SO-UPS, Russia and Luiz Barroso.
GO 15. Reliable and Sustainable Power Grids. is the association of 15 largest grid operators in the world. Grid Controller of India Limited has assumed incoming Vice-Presidency of GO15 for the year 2023 and Presidency for 2024.
