POWERGRID Observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November 2025 at more than 300 establishments spread across the country.

The observance commenced with the administration of Integrity Pledge by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Tyagi, CMD to the POWERGRID fraternity at the Corporate Office in Gurugram. Shri G. Ravisankar, Director (Finance), Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Shri Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), Shri Burra Vamsi Ra-ma Mohan, Director (Projects) and Shri Naveen Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, along with senior officials and employees attended the ceremony.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” a Walkathon was organized at the POWERGRID Corporate Office, witnessing enthusiastic participation from employees. The event was followed by a Nukkad Natak (street play), performed both at the Corporate Office and nearby locations, effectively spreading the message of collective responsibility and integrity among employees and the community alike.

POWERGRID is organising a host of activities across all regions and substations throughout the country aimed at reinforcing the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability. The week-long observance also features a range of outreach programmes, including Lok Geet, Cyclothon, Puppet Shows, Gram Sabhas, Slogan writing & Drawing competitions and Debates, underscoring the importance of collective effort in building a corruption-free society.
