Shri Amitava Mukherjee belongs to the 1995 batch of Indian Railway Accounts Services (IRAS) and is a Cost Accountant. Before joining NMDC, he was General Manager (Finance) at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for three years. Before joining IRAS, he worked at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) from 1994-1997.
