Oil India Limited has signed a 15-year Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement with North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited to supply 1.4 million standard cubic meters per day of natural gas to NEEPCO’s Assam Gas Based Power Station at Bokuloni, Dibrugarh. This agreement extends the previous 10-year contract, ensuring continued gas supply for the plant’s operation. The deal was executed by Sh Ranjan Goswami, Executive Director (Business Development) of Oil India, and Sh Bijit Kumar Goswami, Executive Director (Operation & Maintenance) of NEEPCO, at the power station’s office. The long-term pact aims to strengthen energy security, support regional power generation, and promote sustainable development in Assam and the northeastern region.
