NTPC Kudgi continues to set a benchmark in corporate social responsibility (CSR) through its sustained and impactful initiatives aimed at community upliftment and skill development. In a significant demonstration of its commitment to inclusive growth, NTPC Kudgi recently distributed sewing machines to 500 women from Project Affected Villages (PAVs) upon successful completion of a Skill Development Training Program in Sewing and Tailoring.
This initiative empowers women by providing vocational skills, promoting financial independence, and fostering long-term self-reliance. It is conducted in collaboration with MSQ Technology.
Furthering its focus on youth empowerment, NTPC Kudgi also distributed electrical tool kits and certificates to 40 youth who completed the “Skill Upgradation Course for Basic Electrician Training.” This program has already benefited over 720 students from PAVs, equipping them with technical skills and enhancing their prospects for self-employment.
