NEW DELHI. The Public Enterprises Selection Board recommended Shri P L S S Chaitanya Prakash for the position of Director (Power) at NLC India Limited during its meeting on June 9, 2026. Currently serving as the Executive Director (Operations) at the Damodar Valley Corporation, Shri Chaitanya Prakash was selected by the board ahead of ten other contenders who were competing for the prestigious leadership role.
Shri Chaitanya Prakash brings a wealth of specialized expertise and extensive experience in power sector operations to his new appointment. Throughout his distinguished career at Damodar Valley Corporation, one of India’s oldest and largest multi-purpose river valley projects, he has successfully managed significant installed generation capacities. His proven track record in large-scale utility management is expected to drive operational excellence at NLC India Limited.
