NTPC Western Region-I Headquarters successfully organized the Regional Communication Meet (RCM) for WR-I Projects and Stations at its Mumbai Headquarters. The meeting, chaired by Shri Kamlesh Soni, Regional Executive Director (West-I), brought together Heads of Projects (HOPs), Regional Heads of Departments (HODs), Regional HOHR, HOHRs, and representatives from Unions and Associations of WR-I Projects and Stations.
In his keynote address, Shri Soni emphasized the critical importance of addressing employee concerns in a time-bound and transparent manner. He reiterated NTPC’s focus on fostering effective internal communication to strengthen organizational synergy.
RCMs are vital platforms that enable management and employees to engage in meaningful dialogue, share perspectives, and address mutual concerns. These forums help align efforts towards NTPC’s vision, while also offering an avenue to seek constructive feedback from employee representatives,” Shri Soni remarked. He urged both management and unions to ensure prompt and effective communication of decisions to the larger workforce, facilitating an environment of collaboration and trust.
The inaugural session was marked by a welcome address from Smt. Vandana Chaturvedi, RHOHR, WR-I HQs. She underscored the importance of Regional Communication Meetings in fostering a performance-oriented and people-centric culture. “An effective communication system is the foundation of an organization’s success and growth,” she said, highlighting the collaborative ethos of NTPC.
