Disability Rehabilitation Centres have been established strategically at NTPC locations, such as Korba, Dadri, Rihand, Tanda, Farakka and Bongaigaon, with an aim to create a more inclusive and equitable society. With about 129,094 therapies including counseling sessions, restorative surgeries, and the provision of artificial aids and appliances, these centres have positively impacted the lives of 57,648 people in the neighbouring villages.
NTPC, in collaboration with the National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD), is not just providing services but fostering a comprehensive and inclusive environment, thereby making a difference in the lives of the differently-abled people in the surrounding of its projects.
