GUWAHATI. NTPC Bongaigaon has won six Gold Awards at the Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC) 2026, organized by various chapters and sub-chapters of the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI). The achievement highlights the station’s commitment to teamwork, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
The awards recognized six teams for their projects on reducing medicine expiry, improving coal handling equipment reliability, ensuring uninterrupted water treatment, promoting plant waste recycling, and improving the performance of ignition and hydraulic clamping systems. The teams received recognition across the QCFI Kolkata, Guwahati, and Bhilai chapter conventions.
The achievement reflects the active participation of employees in identifying workplace challenges and developing practical solutions. It also reinforces NTPC Bongaigaon’s focus on efficiency, resource conservation, reliability, and sustainable power plant operations.
