NEW DELHI. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a long-term technology partnership. Under this collaboration, both Department of Atomic Energy units will jointly develop and standardize advanced Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems, computer-based technologies, nuclear instrumentation, training simulators, and cyber security solutions. This agreement aims to ensure continuous lifecycle support for operating reactors, overcome technology obsolescence, and accelerate the deployment of secure, self-reliant technologies across India’s existing and upcoming nuclear power projects.
