NLC India Limited Enhances Workforce Capabilities with Up-Skilling Training Programs

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) is taking significant strides to enhance its workforce capabilities through a series of comprehensive Up-Skilling and Re-Skilling initiatives. These programs, developed in partnership with leading firms, aim to keep employees aligned with industry advancements, support their career growth, and promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

On August 21, 2024, the trainees who successfully completed the program were awarded certificates by Mr. Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resources) of NLCIL, at a ceremony hosted at the  Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli.

These Up-Skilling initiatives are anticipated to bring substantial benefits to NLCIL by enhancing employee proficiency, increasing productivity, reducing equipment downtime, boosting production levels, and improving overall safety standards across the organization.

NLCIL conducted specialized training sessions focused on Welding, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics. Held at the Amara Raja Skill Development Centre (ARSDC) in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, these programs trained 47 employees from the Mines and Thermal Units. The training was designed to equip participants with cutting-edge technological skills to boost productivity and reduce maintenance delays.
