BHUBANESHWAR. NLC India Limited’s green energy arm, NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL), has incorporated a 51:49 joint venture company—NIRL OREDA Renewables Limited—with the Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) to execute a 1,000 MW green energy portfolio in Odisha, featuring 250 MW of wind power and 225 MW of floating solar projects in its initial phase. In a parallel expansion of its renewable footprint, NIRL has partnered with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) through a 74:26 joint venture to develop a 110 MW captive solar power project in Uttar Pradesh, designed to supply clean power for regional mass transit infrastructure.
