IIT Ropar has appointed Mr. Nikhil Swami as its new Public Relations Officer. He has join the IIT, Ropar. With six years of experience in developing communication strategies across leading public sector organisations, including NTPC Limited and NBCC (India) Limited, he brings strong expertise in strategic communication, public outreach, and institutional branding to his new role.
Mr. Swami described his move to IIT Ropar as a natural progression in his journey of storytelling across diverse sectors—energy, infrastructure, and now academia and innovation. He expressed enthusiasm about contributing to an institution that is shaping India’s future through cutting-edge research, technological advancement, and transformative education. His focus will be on amplifying the impactful work of IIT Ropar’s faculty, researchers, and students, and strengthening the institute’s visibility at national and global levels.
