NHPC celebrated Global Hydropower Day on October 11, 2024, at its Corporate Office in Faridabad. Shri R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC emphasized the crucial role of hydropower in global sustainability and highlighted upon the need of tapping its potential in India. Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC spoke about hydropower’s importance for global energy security, while Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects & Technical), NHPC highlighted NHPC’s bright future and encouraged professionalism among employees. Shri Santosh Kumar, CVO, NHPC discussed the benefits of hydropower and its importance for grid stability.
