With the operationalization of Terminal 1 (T1), Delhi Airport become the first and only airport in India to handle annual passenger capacity of 100 million.
Terminal 1 : 40 million pax
Terminal 2 : 15 million pax
Terminal 3 : 45 million pax.
Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1 (T1) will resume full operations from April 15
All flights currently operating from Terminal 2 (T2) will be relocated to T1.
Currently, Terminal 2 handles approximately 270-280 air traffic movements and serves over 46,000 passengers per day.
At T2, primarily Akasa Air and IndiGo airline operates.
These flights will be shifted to T1 starting April 15, 2025.
