NEW DELHI – Krishi Jagran, a pioneer in agriculture media, and Krishi Viman, a cutting-edge smart and precision agri-tech startup, have signed a
MoU to collaborate on advancing agricultural technology and practices.
Krishi Jagran Chaupal signed the MoU with Krishi Viman, marking a pivotal collaboration in advancing agricultural technology and practices. Shri MC Dominic, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, and Dr. Shankar Goenka from WOW GO Green LLP signed the MoU. This agreement will facilitate the promotion of the Hon’ble PM’s flagship program “Drone Didi” in rural areas.
The event was further enriched by an insightful address from Dr. Shankar Goenka of WOW GO Green LLP. Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Dr. Goenka emphasized the transformative potential of drones in agriculture and highlighted the Drone Didi Scheme’s impact, which aims to empower women in the sector. Dr. Goenka expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration and said that he is very confident the drone industry will see a huge change with our huge network in rural regions.”
Dr. Goenka also praised the Prime Minister for initiating the Drone Didi programme, which aims to empower women to become self-sustaining by earning money through drone operations. The government has allocated a budget of INR 1,250 crore to distribute drones.
