NEW DELHI. The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) celebrated its 40th Foundation Day in New Delhi, marking nearly four decades of pioneering green financing. CMD Shri Pradip Kumar Das lauded the dedication of “IREDANs,” highlighting the past six years as a transformative era defined by record growth, transparency, and superior corporate governance.
A major milestone noted was IREDA’s international expansion through its new GIFT City subsidiary, aimed at securing global green financing. Emphasizing that employees are the agency’s greatest asset, the CMD prioritized continuous capacity building to meet evolving sector needs. Looking ahead, IREDA remains committed to innovation and efficiency, supported by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, to solidify India’s leadership in the global energy transition.
