IICA and HCCI to collaborate to enhance the knowledge and skills of business owners, young industry managers, and employees.
The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and the Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) have solidified their collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Panchkula. In the presence of eminent industrialists and business leaders from the region, Dr. KL Dhingra, Head of the Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy at IICA, and Shri Rajneesh Garg, President of HCCI, formally initiated this partnership. The event was graced by the presence of Shri C.B. Goel, a former President of HCCI.
The primary objective of this MoU is to leverage the combined expertise of HCCI and IICA to facilitate resource sharing and enhance professionalism among industry stakeholders. Collaboratively, they will design programs to enrich the knowledge and skills of business owners, young industry managers, and employees through specialized training.
Dr. KL Dhingra highlighted the timeliness of this initiative, stressing its potential to create a more competent workforce in Haryana’s industrial sector. Shri Rajneesh Garg emphasized the importance of capacity building for industrial units, enabling them to expand their operations.
The Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry plays a pivotal role in advocating for and representing the state’s industries and trade. It actively collaborates with the Government of Haryana and various institutes involved in industrial development, recently contributing to the update of crucial policies and rulebooks.
