Kolkata (11 March, 2026): Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to women’s empowerment by organising “Vanita – A Day-Out Programme” on March 10, 2026, in observance of International Women’s Day. The initiative brought together the women employees of the organisation for a day of engagement, cohesion, and celebration.
The event featured various group activities and captivating cultural performances, fostering solidarity and enjoyment amongst all participants. Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd), CMD, GRSE, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Cdr Shantanu Bose, IN (Retd.), Director (Shipbuilding), Capt (IN) P Sunilkumar (Retd.), Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel), Shri Niranjan Bhalerao, Director (Finance), Shri Abhishek Ranjan, IOFS, Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri M. Venkatesh Murthy, Executive Director (Commercial Shipbuilding & Supply Chain Management), Cmde Rajat Manchanda, IN (Retd.), Executive Director (Technical Services and Yard Expansion & Modernisation) and other senior officials of GRSE were also present on the occasion to encourage the participants.
