Grid-India in collaboration with ISA and WAPP hosted a Knowledge Sharing and Study Tour to India for delegates from West African Region in Delhi, India, on 13-14 Feb. Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri R.K. Singh inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest.
Shri Singh in his keynote address, appreciated the programme and mentioned, “India put priority in universal access to electricity to 29 million households and also emphasised on importance of energy security”.
Joint Secretary (MNRE), DG (ISA), CMD (Grid-India), Minister Counsellor, Burkina Faso & Dignitaries from WAPP, Ambassadors and High Commissioners from the countries of Nigeria, Guinea, Togo, Mali & Niger were also present on this occasion.
