NEW DELHI. A high-level delegation from Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA), led by Chairman and Managing Director Shri S. C. Saxena and Director (Finance) Shri Amit Kumar Jain along with six senior officials, actively participated in the prestigious CIGRE Paris Session 2026. GRID-INDIA achieved significant global recognition with eight technical papers accepted across four Study Committees. During the event, Shri S. C. Saxena served as a distinguished panellist at the CEO Forum on Energy Regulation and Energy Transition, where he emphasized transmission as a vital enabler of energy transition through grid strength, flexibility, resilience, and innovative access mechanisms. Additionally, Shri Amit Kumar Jain presented a paper detailing securitization of cash flows as a scalable financing model for Indian infrastructure, while Shri Vivek Pandey, Chief General Manager (System Operation), served as Special Reporter for Study Committee C2 and received the prestigious CIGRE Technical Council Award 2026 for his exceptional contributions to power system operation and control.
