Government Warns Passengers Against Fake Air Suvidha 2.0 Websites

Fake Air Suvidha 2.0 websites

NEW DELHI. The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Saturday issued a public advisory warning air passengers against fraudulent websites and portals impersonating Air Suvidha 2.0 and attempting to collect money by redirecting users to payment gateways.

The ministry said it has come to notice that several unauthorised websites are misleading passengers by claiming to offer Air Suvidha 2.0 services and asking for payments during the submission process.

The ministry clarified that Air Suvidha 2.0 services are completely free of cost and no payment is required for submitting the Self-Declaration Form and that the only official Air Suvidha 2.0 portal is: https://airsuvidha.civilaviation.gov.in/

The ministry advised passengers to verify the website address carefully before entering any personal, passport or travel-related information. It also urged travelers not to make payments on any website claiming to provide Air Suvidha 2.0 services unless it is the official government portal.

Passengers have been requested to rely only on official government communications and the authorised Air Suvidha website for authentic information related to travel declarations and passenger facilitation services.

The advisory has been issued in the interest of passenger awareness and public safety, with the ministry cautioning travelers to remain vigilant against online fraud and impersonation attempts.
