NEW DELHI. The government has debunked a video circulating on social media which claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a free three-month recharge for all citizens. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau informed that the claim is fake and the viral video is AI-generated. It added that no such investment scheme has been endorsed by the Prime Minister. The government has urged citizens to visit myscheme.gov.in for information about the Central Government’s public welfare schemes.
