In alignment with its employee value proposition, “Delivering Excellence through People,” Engineers India Limited (EIL) organized a transformative ‘Care & Connect’ Workshop on 24th May 2025 for its HODs and emerging leaders, in collaboration with learning partner Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon. The inaugural session was graced by CMD Smt. Vartika Shukla, members of the EIL Board of Directors, and Dr. Sumita Rai, Dean–Industry Connect, MDI.
CMD emphasized the workshop’s significance within EIL’s ‘Year of Transformation,’ highlighting the need to nurture relationships and harness the collective energy, passion, and capabilities of the workforce to achieve organizational goals and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Fostering a Culture of Empathy and Growth
With a strategic shift from ‘Control to Care’ and a focus on ‘Leading by Example,’ the workshop featured insightful sessions aimed at strengthening leadership impact.
Topics included building a culture of empathy, mastering crucial conversations, and delivering constructive feedback. These sessions were led by Dr. Neera Jain, Professor, and Ms. Niva Bhandari, Assistant Professor, from MDI, Gurgaon. The workshop served as a platform to inspire leaders to adopt a more compassionate and effective leadership style that aligns with EIL’s transformational journey.
