ECL Reaffirms Commitment to CSR and Employee Welfare

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) reinforced its dedication to employee welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by offering 50 new job appointments during a ceremony held on 4th July 2025 at Sankalp Hall, ECL Headquarters.

Of these, 38 appointments were made under the Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Policy, while 12 were granted under the Dependent Employment Scheme as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA). This initiative continues ECLโ€™s longstanding support for families of deceased employees, helping ease their hardships and demonstrating the companyโ€™s enduring commitment to employee well-being.

The ceremony was attended by key officials including Director (Finance) Md. Anzar Alam, Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Niladri Roy, Chief Vigilance Officer Smt. Deepti Patel, Director (HR) Shri Gunjan Kumar Sinha, and Director (Technical/P&P) Shri Girish Gopinathan Nair. The dignitaries encouraged the new appointees to serve with dedication and uphold integrity in their roles.
