#NHAI signed an MoU with Surveyof India for a capacity-building program for development & validation of GIS-Based Land Acquisition Plans for NH Projects. NHAI Chairman Shri Santosh Kumar Yadav & Shri Hitesh Kumar S. Makwana, Surveyor General of India signed the MoU. The agreement aims at leveraging geospatial technology and development of SOP for GIS-Based Land Acquisition Plan to enhance land acquisition planning as well as preparation of ‘Terms of Reference’ for DPR Consultants outlining the technical specifications for GIS-based LAP. The agreement also includes development of a Web Portal for GIS-based LAP data and use of CORS Network Nationwide.
