CoalIndia organised a seminar on “New Technologies in Mining Machinery” at Kolkata. Shri P.M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India, inaugurated the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prasad said that coal will remain the primary fuel source in India for the foreseeable future, however, it is imperative that all measures should be taken to increase productivity with utmost care of maintaining environmental sustainability.
Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Technical), CIL urged the participants to share the prospective technology shift in upcoming 2-3 years and explore the possibility for implementation in Coal India .Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), Shri Debashish Nanda, Director Business Development and Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer along with senior officials attended the workshop.
