NEW DELHI. The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), in collaboration with ONGC, successfully organized a two-day Orientation Programme for the Capacity Building of Functional Directors of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) on June 18–19, 2026, in Dehradun. The event brought together top CPSE leaders, including CMDs and Functional Directors, for extensive deliberations on transformative board governance, vigilance management, financial oversight, effective board functioning, key DPE guidelines, and collaboration for organizational excellence. Through expert-led sessions and dynamic panel discussions, the programme highlighted the evolving role of Boards in driving accountability, strategic leadership, and performance in a fast-changing business environment, ultimately reaffirming the critical importance of strengthening leadership capabilities and governance frameworks to build future-ready, resilient, and high-performing CPSEs.
