DEPwD Signs MoUs to Empower Persons with Disabilities

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) signed two MoUs to enhance opportunities for persons with disabilities. Under Secretary Shri Rajesh Aggarwal’s guidance, one MoU with “Enable Me” Access Association focuses on training accessibility auditors and engineers, supporting the Accessible India Campaign 2.0. The second MoU between the Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center (ISLRTC) and YUNIKEE offers free skills training to the deaf community. These agreements aim to improve education, employment, and social inclusion for persons with disabilities.
