Coal India's FY24 Contribution To Government Exchequer Up 6.4%

Coal India Ltd’s contribution to the government exchequer increased by 6.4% to Rs 60,140.31 crore in FY24, over the financial year 2022-23. Coal India Ltd., which accounts for over 80% of domestic coal output, paid Rs 56,524.11 crore to the government exchequer in FY23, according to provisional figures of the coal
ministry. Total levies paid to the government in March 2024 also went up by 14.8%.

GAIL Global USA Inc (GGUI) and Kinder Morgan Operating LLC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) recently. This non-binding agreement sets the stage for both parties to explore mutually advantageous opportunities within the realms of energy infrastructure and the transition to clean energy.

The signing ceremony took place at Kinder Morgan Corporate Headquarters in Houston, where Shri R K Jain, Chairman, GGUI & Director (Finance), GAIL, alongside top management from Kinder Morgan, were present. The President GGUI signed the MOU, with the attendance of Shri S Bairagi and Shri Sumit
Kishore, respective Directors of GGUI, along with members of their team, witnessing the occasion.
