Dr. Vinay Ranjan, Director (HR) of Coal India Limited, reviewed the SWASTH, DMS and Vidhishakti portals developed by its subsidiary Western Coalfields Limited during his visit to the company’s headquarters in Nagpur. Emphasising the growing importance of digital transformation, Dr. Ranjan stated that digitisation is no longer optional but essential for organisations to remain future-ready and competitive. He appreciated the efforts of the teams involved in developing the portals and offered valuable insights and constructive suggestions to further enhance their effectiveness and resilience. As part of his visit, he also toured the multimedia studio, library and other departments, and interacted with employees at the canteen, encouraging open dialogue and engagement. The visit underscored Coal India’s continued focus on leveraging technology to strengthen internal systems, improve efficiency and promote a culture of innovation across its subsidiaries.
