Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), inaugurated the Neemuch Transmission System’s Control Room. The project facilitates the evacuation of 500 MW Renewable Energy from the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Park. Sh. Tyagi, along with other officials, reviewed the progress, including a 117 km 400 kV line to Chittorgarh substation (Rajasthan) and a 118 km line to Mandsaur substation (MP), along with 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICTs. This initiative supports renewable energy integration, contributing to a net-zero future, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and enhancing energy reliability.
