Shri Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director CMD, NHPC, met Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu Garu, during the RE-Invest 2024 event in Gandhinagar on 16 September 2024. Shri Chaudhary focused the discussion on the next steps regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between APGENCO and NHPC for the development of Pumped Storage Projects in Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized NHPC’s position as India’s largest hydropower utility and its robust in-house capabilities, which cover the full project lifecycle, from concept development to commissioning.
