CBC-GSV Conclave Focuses on Excellence in Project and Asset Management for Viksit Bharat

CBC-GSV Bharat CPSEs Consultative Conclave 2026

New Delhi: The Capacity Building Commission (CBC), in collaboration with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), successfully organised the third edition of the Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave 2026 from July 23 to 25 on the theme “Excellence in Project & Asset Management for Viksit Bharat.” A joint initiative of the CBC and the Department of Public Enterprises under the Ministry of Finance, with GSV as the strategic knowledge partner, the conclave brought together senior leaders from Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), government, industry and academia to promote excellence in project execution and infrastructure development. Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Administration), CBC, described public servants as “Nation Builders” and stressed the importance of converting ideas into measurable outcomes through effective planning and knowledge sharing.

Addressing the conclave, GSV Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary highlighted the growing importance of resilient supply chains, artificial intelligence-driven project management and the PM Gati Shakti initiative in building world-class infrastructure. Chief Guest Dr. Mangu Singh, former Managing Director of DMRC, emphasised timely decision-making, empowered leadership and sound contract management as critical factors for successful project delivery, while Guest of Honour Shri Moses Chalai, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, underlined the role of technology, visionary leadership, efficient manpower management and collaboration in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat. The event also featured mentoring sessions by former BHEL CMD Shri Nalin Shinghal and former ONGC Director (Production) Shri Pankaj Kumar.
