BHEL has been honoured by POWERGRID at the CEO Meet 2024 for its remarkable achievement in commissioning three critical substations under the Neemuch REZ TBCB project ahead of the contractual schedule, despite facing initial challenges.
Sh. Vinay Kumar Bassi, Executive Director (ROD & NREB), and Sh. Rakesh Singh, GM & Head (TBG), accepted the felicitation on behalf of the company.
The project, aimed at evacuating renewable energy generated by RUMS (Rewa Ultra Mega Solar) under Neemuch Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), comprised three substations (S/s): 400/220 kV Neemuch (New) S/s, Extension of 400 kV Chittorgarh S/s and Extension of 400 kV Mandsaur S/s
The early commissioning of these substations is a testament to BHEL’s technical expertise and dedication to providing high-quality infrastructure solutions. These substations will play a vital role in facilitating the efficient transmission and distribution of green energy generated from the Neemuch REZ.
