Bharat Coking Coal Ltd has announced a new scheme for the April–June period of the current financial year to encourage higher coal offtake by power sector consumers and reduce their fuel costs. The initiative aims to improve coal supply, speed up transportation, and ensure stable electricity generation while supporting India’s energy security goals. The scheme will be applicable to all eligible power sector consumers under fuel supply agreements, including those covered by the flexi-linkage scheme.
