NEW DELHI. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the Ministry of Cooperation, established in 2021, has revitalized the lives of nearly 30 crore people over its five-year tenure. Speaking at the ministry’s fifth Foundation Day in New Delhi, Shah highlighted that modern, transparent, and technology-driven reforms have successfully modernized the cooperative ecosystem. He emphasized that resolving key sector challenges and implementing a strategic roadmap will position the cooperative movement as a vital foundation for a prosperous India by 2047.
The initiative was designed to create greater public awareness and inspire citizens to actively contribute to a cleaner environment.
