Air Travellers' Association Pledges Full Support to Civil Aviation Minister's Vision for the Sector

The Air Travellers’ Association (ATA) has expressed its full support for the vision of Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, the  Union Minister of Civil Aviation, during its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolution endorsing the minister’s recent statements aimed at improving the air travel experience and addressing key issues within the civil aviation sector.

Mr. Narasimham D.L., Secretary of the ATA, highlighted the organization’s backing of Minister Naidu’s initiatives. “ATA wholeheartedly welcomes Minister Naidu’s vision for civil aviation, particularly his focus on ‘ease of flying’ and affordable air travel. His commitment to utilizing technology to resolve passenger grievances is a step in the right direction,” he said.

The AGM also saw members agreeing to send a high-level delegation to meet Minister Naidu, offering collaboration and assistance in implementing his policies.

ATA Secretary-General, Mr. G.S. Bawa, expressed optimism about the minister’s leadership. “We believe that Honourable Minister Naidu’s leadership will bring significant positive changes to the civil aviation sector. We look forward to working closely with him and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) to ensure air travellers’ concerns are effectively addressed,” Mr. Bawa stated.

The ATA delegation is expected to meet with Minister Naidu in the coming weeks to discuss further cooperation and promote air traveller-centric policies.
