BUXAR. SJVN CMD Bhupender Gupta inaugurated a programme at the 1,320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project in Bihar to commemorate the commercial operation of its 660 MW Unit-II. He also inaugurated the project’s Centralized Control Room and reviewed key operational facilities, while congratulating Team STPL for the milestone and emphasising the project’s role in meeting Bihar’s growing energy requirements. During the visit, Gupta and SJVN Director (Projects) Rajesh Kumar Chandel held discussions with senior Bihar government officials on project-related issues, including land acquisition, CSR, PPA matters, renewable power and potential investment opportunities in the state.
