NEW DELHI. NTPC has partnered with the Government of Goa to strengthen the state’s emergency medical response by providing 19 specialized healthcare vehicles. Dedicated to the people of Goa, the fleet includes two Cardiac Ambulances, eight Advanced Life Support Ambulances, six Basic Life Support Ambulances, and three Medicine and Linen Transport Vans. The handing-over ceremony was held in the presence of Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, and Shri Vishwajit Rane, Hon’ble Health Minister of Goa. This critical intervention will help Goa manage the heavy healthcare infrastructure demands arising from high vehicle density and hosting over one crore annual tourists.
