RANCHI. Shri Subrat Kumar Dash has assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTPC Mining Limited (NML), the coal mining subsidiary of NTPC Limited. He officially took over the role on June 17, 2026, at the company’s headquarters in Ranchi. An Electrical Engineer by profession, Dash joined NTPC in 1989 as an Executive Trainee and brings nearly 37 years of rich experience in the power and energy sector. His appointment is expected to further strengthen NTPC Mining’s operational excellence and support the company’s strategic growth in the coal mining business.
