NEW DELHI. IndianOil, GAIL (India) Limited, Adani Gas Private Limited, and Patiala RNG Private Limited have signed a tri-partite agreement for the offtake of Compressed Biogas under the Government of India’s CBG-CGD Synchronization Scheme. The agreement was executed in the presence of key executives, including GAIL Marketing General Manager Subhandhu Sinha and Patiala RNG Assistant Vice President Nirendra Nath Talukdar. This milestone highlights the commitment to injecting sustainable biogas into the existing City Gas Distribution network. By creating reliable value chains from agricultural residues and organic waste, the initiative will significantly strengthen the rural agri-based economy, accelerate India’s green energy transition, and contribute directly toward the national vision of a developed India.
