NTPC Barh and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Barauni, signed a Mutual Aid Agreement on 24 June 2026 to strengthen inter-organizational cooperation in the areas of industrial safety, emergency preparedness and resource sharing. The agreement was signed by Shri C. Satya Rama Krishna, Executive Director, NTPC Barh and Shri Satya Prakash, Executive Director & Refinery Head, IOCL Barauni, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
The agreement aims to establish a framework for mutual support during emergencies, enabling quick mobilization of firefighting and rescue resources while strengthening coordination and communication between the two organizations. It also provides for conducting joint mock drills, training programmes and safety exercises to enhance emergency response capabilities and promote best practices in industrial safety.
