MUMBAI. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has significantly expanded Indiaโs clean energy network by launching several major City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects across Uttar Pradesh. Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing & HR), inaugurated the new Gas Territory Office and Decompression Unit (DCU) at Sitapur, while virtually opening a high-capacity City Gate Station and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) filling facility at Shahjahanpur, along with two District Regulating Stations at Maholi and Lakhimpur City. This joint launch, attended by senior officials including Shri Rahul Tandon and Shri Rouf M. Khan, will bring eco-friendly Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to nearly 75,000 households and provide 35,000 kg of compressed gas daily for vehicles at Shahjahanpur, advancing BPCL’s goal of delivering reliable, sustainable energy solutions across the region.
