NEW DELHI. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) marked its 21st Annual Day on April 10, 2026, at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, highlighting its role as a key driver of India’s infrastructure development. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with Ministers of State Ravneet Singh and V. Somanna, congratulated the organisation for its consistent contribution to strengthening national infrastructure. Senior Railway Board officials and RVNL leadership also attended the event.
During the celebration, Railway Board Chairman and CEO Satish Kumar highlighted RVNL’s strong execution track record, noting that the company has completed over 17,000 km of railway infrastructure with projects exceeding ₹2 lakh crore. He cited landmark achievements such as the New Pamban Bridge and major Himalayan tunnelling works, while emphasising the adoption of modern technologies, renewable energy initiatives, and digital infrastructure projects like Bharat Net.
RVNL CMD Saleem Ahmad described the organisation’s evolution into a diversified, integrated infrastructure company with global ambitions. He underlined future priorities including speed, scale, sustainability, and digital innovation, as RVNL expands into metro projects, renewable energy, and new-age rail systems, reinforcing its commitment to supporting India’s vision of Viksit Bharat.
