The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 hosted a high-level India–Africa Strategic Partnership Meet to bolster cooperation across the entire power value chain, including renewable energy, grid transmission, and storage. Attended by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Minister of State Shripad Yesso Naik, and Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, the session brought together international ambassadors and representatives from the World Bank and Africa50. The discussions focused on accelerating cross-border investments, sharing technical expertise, and building resilient electricity infrastructure to meet the growing energy demands of developing economies in both India and Africa.
