The Government of India has appointed Shri R. Chander as Managing Director (MD) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Shri Chander was serving as Executive Director (Investment-FO) at LIC prior to this appointment. His tenure as MD will continue until he reaches the age of superannuation on 30th September 2027.
