During Swachhata Hi Seva 2025, NTPC Bongaigaon organized a series of activities from September 17 to October 2, 2025, to promote cleanliness and environmental sustainability. A Walkathon was held within the station and township, led by Shri Arnab Maitra, to raise awareness on waste segregation and sustainable living. Participants, including department heads, employees, and community members, carried placards and slogans emphasizing collective responsibility for a cleaner environment.
Additionally, a Mass Plantation Drive titled “One Tree in the Name of Mother” saw over 100 saplings planted in the township, with volunteers and leaders actively participating to enhance green cover. A Cleanliness Drive under Swachhotsav involved employees and CISF personnel cleaning common areas and promoting waste management practices. These initiatives reflect NTPC Bongaigaon’s commitment to community welfare, sustainability, and contributing to India’s vision of a cleaner, greener future.
